Inception of a domain concept began a few weeks into Dec 2001, and the names thought over included wingedsoul, illumine, and others of that ilk. lux lucis was chanced upon in a Latin-English dictionary and fallen in love with at first read.

lL.net (isn't that a nice abbreviation? ^^) was registered through PlanetDomain and is hosted through PHPwebhosting. It's been on the web since Feb 18, 2002 but was only "opened" as a domain May 2002 because Mia has been very busy with that horrible thing known as university classes.

Projects and sites hosted on lL.net are diverse, as Mia has many many interests herself and the people hosted here are very unique individuals. lL.net was created for different forms of personal expression; it is not a fan-service domain. It is, however, meant to be varied. It is meant to provoke thought. It is meant to do what light does: sometimes reveal, sometimes cast shadows, sometimes illuminate. Light determines color and perception; it is not necessarily bright all the time, but it remains what it is.
